Conspiracy Theories or Critisizing the Critique of WWII
Why I am suspicious of the mainstream narrative on WWII
I am a conspiracy theorist and I am proud of it. Here is one of my reasons for that.
I will not go into the origin of the term and why it was used to discredit any criticism of the prevailing dogmas. Instead, I will give my own account of why I am suspicious of the mainstream narrative on several topics, which revolve around a major catastrophe in our recent past.
Second World War – general considerations
Everybody was taught at school who were on the right side of history. Depending on the country you are living in, you were informed about the reasons that led to it. Most probably you are told of the noble and moral role of your country (especially if you were among the official winners) in the struggle. However, there were too many things that did not add up. I suspected that we are missing crucial details and as the years went by I am now convinced that we know only part of the truth and many aspects are ignored or hidden on purpose.
The rise of the German Reich
Let’s start with the show. After the First World War Germany is devastated and has to pay reparations. Somehow, as if by miracle, it managed to get on its feet and create a formidable war machine, strong infrastructure and impressive industries. Is it realistic to believe that a single country without some help can do that? I will leave that for you to assess. Hitler was obviously arming in order to conquer, not just out of whim. Curiously, all of Europe was watching that patiently and calmly. They did not have any information from their intelligence services and obviously were fooled by his peaceful rhetoric.
From friends to enemies overnight
The war was about to end soon. The allied forces advance to Berlin. Once the peace deal and spheres of influence are drafted there is an abrupt change in the state of affairs. Russia and USA were fighting in the same trench and overnight they became enemies. Any explanation for the public? Missing in the official history books. Some of the ex-Nazis are brought to USA to help in the military industry and rocket science. Others are left to form the new Intelligence Agencies in Germany. Even to the extent that ex Nazi was head of the Interpol in the early seventies. Make it make sense. Here is another elephant in the room. Most of the German corporations (Krupp f.e.) were left intact after the regime collapsed. Despite their significant role in militarization of the Reich and alleged work of slave labor. Currently, they are still in operation and nobody is concerned about their murky past.
Economic miracles
Now, we can inspect another myth. The ruins of the devastated cities and destroyed lives are behind our backs. Germany and Japan rise from the rubble and are soon to regain their deserved place in international trade and politics. What is that magic wand that can help a country reach its maximum in a relatively short period? If that is attainable why not all the countries in the world follow the same path. Obviously, here we have something more than just sheer will and hard work. I will let you solve for yourself that puzzle.
